By registering into the Datacanis service (hereinafter the ”Service”), the end user of the service (hereinafter the ”User”) agrees to comply with these Terms and conditions. The user must read and accept these Terms and conditions in their entirety.

General
These Terms and conditions apply to the use of the Service. If, however, a separate service agreement has been made between the User and the Service Provider, the terms of that service agreement shall apply primarily. These Terms and Conditions then supplement what has been separately agreed upon.
The purpose of the service is to provide an online service platform for users of the dog database. A user logged in the service can e.g. change their own contact information, view information about the dogs they own, and register dogs and litters. In addition, the Service has user roles based on a monthly fee, with which the User can enable additional functions if they wish.
A third-party auth0 system is used for user authentication. The system requires the use of cookies to function. More information about the auth0 system can be found at https://auth0.com/security/
Copyrights
The service and the material it contains are protected by copyright. All rights are owned by the Service Provider. The User of the Service is granted a limited access right to the content of the Service against the fees according to the price list. The limited right of use is personal, and the content may not be forwarded to third parties without the Service Provider’s separate permission.

The payment service provider for purchases within the service is Stripe Payments Europe Limited. In the service, you can pay with Stripe’s payment methods.

By accepting these Terms and conditions, the User simultaneously accepts Stripe’s Terms of use (https://stripe.com/legal/end-users) and the Privacy statement (https://stripe.com/privacy).
The subscription fees for the user roles are charged as an indefinite subscription, billed monthly. The long-term subscription continues without interruption until the User cancels the subscription. The user has the right to cancel the order no later than 14 days after placing the order. If the long-term subscription includes a trial period, the cancellation period is counted as having started on the first day of the trial period.
The registration fees for dogs and litters paid in the service are one-time payments, to which the terms of the Finnish Dog Registry’s Registration Guidelines apply.
The service provider can change the price and pricing criteria of an individual service and change a free service to a paid service or vice versa. The current price list can be found on the Service’s website.
User responsibility
- Only an adult and otherwise full-fledged natural person can register as a User for the service.
- When registering, the User must provide the required registration information, which can be used to identify the User, and select a password-protected username for using the Service.The personal data entered or confirmed by the User must be truthful and the User’s own. The user is obliged to keep their information up to date. The user is responsible for errors or delays due to the fact that the information provided by the user is incomplete or out of date.
- The username is personal. Username and password are user-specific and handing them over to another person is prohibited. Username and password must not be handled carelessly so that someone other than the User can log in to the Service. The service provider has the right to require the User to change the username’s password for security reasons.
- If the username or password comes into the knowledge of an outsider, the user must notify the Service Provider immediately.
- When using the Service, the User may not cause harm, disruption or damage to the Service Provider or other users. The user must also not endanger the data protection or security of the Service. The user is responsible for the acquisition, maintenance, protection and costs of the equipment and connections necessary to use the Service.
Responsibility of the service provider
Users are registered in the Service Provider’s customer register. The service provider processes personal data in accordance with the Service’s Privacy policy.
The service provider is not liable to the user or a third party for any errors or deficiencies the service may contain, or for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or interpretation of the information contained in the service. The Service Provider is not responsible for damage caused by emails sent from the Service not reaching the recipient.
The service provider is not responsible for possible service interruptions due to, for example, maintenance work, technical faults or other similar reasons.
The Service Provider has the right to cancel the right to use the Service from a User who has not complied with these Terms and conditions or who has intentionally provided incorrect information when registering for the service.
Changes in service
The service provider has the right to change the content, operation and these Terms and conditions of the service for the development of the service or for any other necessary reason.
